Wonder Bread

This is the recipe that was shared at the excellent breadmaking/freezer jam class last night, and we thought some of you that weren't able to make that night might like to have it! Enjoy!

Makes 4 loaves
Takes 3-4 hours

1 1/2 c. warm water
3 T. yeast
1 T. sugar

Mix these 3 and let sit

2 1/2 c. hot water
6 T. margarine
2 t. salt
4 c. flour

Mix together

Add 1st mixture to 2nd. Gradually add more flour until you have put in about 10 cups. Knead for 10 minutes(use more flour to keep manageable). Put in bowl and let rise until double. Punch down and let rise until double again. Divide into 4 loaves (or 48 rolls). Double again. Put in cold oven and turn to 400 for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 for 20-25 minutes(or preheat to 350 and cook for 40 minutes).
